A Brigade Boy

Joesph standing at attention in his new BB T-shirt and service cap. He polished the badge until it shone. The first day he got the badge, he walked into a counter-corner at the shopping centre because he wasn’t looking. He was looking at the badge and polishing it as he was walking.

Attennnnnnn-tion!

Have you read Kevin MD’s blog before? Here’s an interview with Kevin on eDrugSearch.

Photo Hunters : “Five”

When I think of “five”, this comes to mind:

Hibiscus

The hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia. The five petals of the hibiscus represents the five principles of the “Rukunegara” of Malaysia. They are:

* BELIEF IN GOD
* LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY
* THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION
* THE RULE OF LAW
* COURTESY AND MORALITY

I wish I had photos of red hibiscus but the red hibiscus had more than five petals. LOL.

Underwater

Have you noticed the river in the banner of my blog? That’s the Merbok river. Sungai Petani sits south of the Merbok river, at the foot of the Mount Jerai. Want to know what’s under the surface of the river?

Take a look (don’t blink):

A season for everything

Kedah, being the rice bowl of Malaysia, is green again. There’s been rain since the end of March. Now is the season for planting rice. I don’t know whether you remember the old campfire song..

Planting rice is never fun
Bent from morn till set of sun
Cannot stand and cannot sit
Cannot rest for a little bit

Nowadays, planting rice is automated motorized.. with the help of machinery.
