I'm sorry to hear about your kin. It seems that she was already planned for conservative treatment (no operation) from the beginning. And the surgeon was forced to operate because of an acute problem which occured later. Lately she developed abdominal pain on the right. Doctor suspect appendix infection. A surgery was schedule supposedly to take care of the appendix problem and to remove the tumour. However, after opening up,doctor decided not to go ahead with the cancer ops because the tumor is too big and it is a major surgery. She is 81 years old. I need second opinion.
