This brings back sweet sweet memories of my years in St John Ambulance…
Then, I could imagine myself in the future as one of the officers, how much things have changed…

The way u nap w the sky, so extraordinary. i’d had snap only the contigents(so biasa one)
Pic 4: all so straight, like the tiang lampu ho
omg… to think that I was in that parade many years ago! can’t imagine doing it now under the hot sun! *puteri lilin*
sorry, “snap” not “nap” hehehe…
Wonderful pictures. It’s a good insight into another culture.
Anastasia, don’t you love the uniforms?
CSH, yup.. the sky was really blue that morning, which was good. Otherwise the parade would have been canceled if it rained.
Pic 4: I loved the blue sky on the Parade Day.
Angel, really? Most hardcore tough girls turn into “wax princesses” after leaving school and “blooming”, don’t you think? Haha.
Capt Picard, ahh.. but THIS culture came from your part of the galaxy.
I remember I used to go to one when I was 9 years old and still living in Miri…miss the curry rice they serve during lunch and I became really tanned after that…haha….=)
hardcore tough girls turn into puteri lilin; puteri lilin and bookworms turn into tough women. Hmmm… was quite surprised to found out it happens among my friends…errr… i’m coming into one of these category…. oh gosh, i dont want to be one!
