Bernard, hey, thanks so much. I went into Chinese tools and found it. At least now when people ask me how to write, I just show them what I found on Chinese tools.

Great help.

LB, Joseph the dreamer :-) Haha.

Pelf, really? Hi-5!!

Judy, no laa.. of cos i won't laugh. I'm learning too. You go to AiZhu .. and look up Genesis 37 to find the Chinese name for Joseph..

For your daughter, you go to the appropriate book and chapter and select IT (dunno what that means, i think it's for simplified Chinese) or GB (i think that's for traditional version) and click left or right pane and then GO.

You can also compare versions by selecting another version on the other pane. You can even set it to pinyin on one pane and Chinese characters on the other.

Useful for students, like me. :-)

*There's another tool to convert names to Chinese in Chinese-Tools

May, haha.. the meaning is in Hebrew, "May the LORD add another son."

JT, brand loyalty. :-)

Jonzz, just "Joseph Chan". The pinyin is: "yu?sè".

Actually.. here's a tool to learn how to pronounce the words...

If you have the chinese characters, go to Chinese-Tools to find out the pinyin.

And then go to New Concept Mandarin to learn how to actually pronounce it.

Enjoy.

Yenjai, actually John would be ?? (yuehan). ??? is too long for a Chinese name la. :-)
