I miss being on the monkey bars. now they’re just too short for me, or I’m too tall for them. reach up, and I could touch them alrady, lol!

Nice shots - he loves this doesn’t he! No wonder you put him in gymnastics. How is his gymnastics getting along?

  7. Jean-Luc Picard May 5, 2007 6:25 pm

The upside down one is scary!

any kid using the monkey bars must be under adult supervision. I know of a few kids who have injured themselves this way

  9. Bengbeng May 5, 2007 10:50 pm

I used to love playing the monkey bars. Nowadays I probably can’t even hang on 1 bar coz of the excessive weight in the bum hehehe.

THanks for visiting my blog the other day =)

Nocturnale, haha.. yup.. he has since started on artistic gym class. My arms have gone aching from his flips.

May, uahh… model height laa.. were you in gymnastics before?

    Yenjai, yup.. absolutely loves it.

Chen, ahhh.. is he in Penang? He’d love to play with those active types.

Eastcoastlife, yup.. tall, dark and handsome. Psstt.. like father, like son. Hehe.

George, he’s going every Sunday. He’s too young for the team yet. I’m not sure that he can go for the team training ‘cos it’s very intensive.

    Capt Picard, haha.. it’s just a back-flip.

Just me, yup.. definitely should be, especially if they’re not familiar with it or don’t know their limit.

Bengbeng, yup.. luckily for Joseph and papa ..

Perky, thanks for dropping by too :-)… ok.. start working on the weights!

Chelsea, aiyyoo.. can bend so easily mehh?

I see a Cirque Du Soleil artiste in the making….LOL

  15. rinnah May 7, 2007 11:32 am

Wow… how did your son do that last stunt? I could only dangle from the monkey bars when I was young - couldn’t muster the strength or the guts to swing myself over.

  16. eve May 7, 2007 12:41 pm

Karen loves the monkey bar too…tapi tabole do 3rd pic mia stunt la…i see that oso pinggang sakit liao..

  17. nyonyapenang May 7, 2007 1:48 pm

    joseph the gymnast!
err….can daddy do the stunts too?

  18. Bernard May 8, 2007 1:35 am

Cocka Doodle, hahaha.. perhaps.. wouldn’t rule that out.

Rinnah, he’s had a lot of practice climbing since he was a baby. And he had been doing flips on my arms before this. Of course, he’s featherweight. That helps. :-)

eve, ye larr.. girl worr… nvm laaa.

nyonya, haha.. daddy is too stiff and heavy to do that already… and daddy would be having a headache right after going upside down.

  19. zee May 8, 2007 3:52 am

those were the days… Now i cant do the stunt animore.

  20. liling May 8, 2007 7:13 am

Ahh….This is what childhood is all about. Not a care in the world under dad’s watchful eye.

  21. Bernard May 8, 2007 8:56 am

Zee, thanks for dropping by. Used to be able to, I guess?

Liling, that’s so true! Right on the mark. I think every child deserves that. Free to explore his abilities with guidance. Thank you.

  22. ahhong May 8, 2007 11:48 am

ha..en..father can do the same also?^^

  23. Bernard May 8, 2007 12:37 pm

  25. eastcoastlife May 9, 2007 12:27 am

    Bernard,
Notice I didn’t add the remark ‘like father like son’. I don’t find that your son resembles you.
    hahahaha……
