It gives tips to help conserve the resources of our earth. We are stewards of the earth and the resources on it. “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

Allthingspurple tagged me with this meme to describe music scene when I was eighteen. The year was … err… not so fast… you read the post and guess it!

The year began with Phil Collin’s “Another day in paradise”, which was the title track for the album which went on to be the album of the year. My favourite slow pop scene was characterized by the likes of Roxette with “It Must Have Been Love ” .. but it’s over now. It was just apt for me…. haihss..

“From a distance” from Bette Midler was song of the year. And other memorable ones were.. “Vision of love” by Mariah Carey (who was just starting out on the music scene then); “Love Will Lead You Back” - Taylor Dayne; and “Soul Provider” - Michael Bolton.

Lest you think I’m too sentimental, here are my other more up-beat favourites… this one will never be left out: “Oh Pretty Woman” from Roy Orbison, although it was from 1965 … !!

OK.. that’s still sentimental. How about these favourites, then?

Milli Vanilli was a black spot on the music scene for that year…. their Best New Artiste Grammy was taken back because they were not the the ones actually performing the song in the recording.

So…. guessed what year it was yet?
