Underwater
Have you noticed the river in the banner of my blog? That’s the Merbok river. Sungai Petani sits south of the Merbok river, at the foot of the Mount Jerai. Want to know what’s under the surface of the river?
Take a look (don’t blink):

Hoi. Clown fish?
Haha… it’s a screensaver from Magentic. I was having a lot of fun trying them out.
… i love the ocean waves, flowing rivers and swirling cloud screensavers.
Haha…what did you use to shhot them lah?
Very cool screensaver that eventually fills the screen up with water!!! Love it! No pirhanas? Freshwater mah…
Chelsea, hahaha…
LB, piranhas would have been cool! They’d be swarming around; and once in a while, another fish might drop in and they’d all go and eat it up.
LOL! you had me there. really cool.
Haha! Yeeeee, so lame geh!
To answer your question from the previous entry, I wasn’t really nearby. I come from B’worth. Every other wkend, dad will take us jalan2, so SP used to be one of our fav place because we all love the char koay teow there! We find that the koay teow in SP is different and very sedap! Our fav stall used to be the hawker centre in town (dunno the name lar). Oh, and I also love this one kopitiam’s kueh ciap somewhere opp. that supermarket (die, forgot the name again, pink colour wan… but I suppose now tutup liao). The kopitiam is next to a pet shop
Ooops… sorries, talk so much unrelated to your entry pulak…
May, I loved the way the water looks like it’s swirling around.
Angel, Butterworth IS nearby :-).. I grew up in Seberang Perai, including Kg. Gajah for a few years.
Weii.. you’d better remember where the char koay teow stall is, you can’t just entice people like that and leave it open-ended…. arrghhh….LOL.
I guess I’ll have to go by the clues. You’ve got good memory for details. Except for names, that is.
That’s a good one, Bernard!
Haha you almost fooled me but of coz bengbeng is always easy t fool hahahhah
aiyoyo…drowning..drowing…
hahahaha..
nice nice..
got fishies here and there.. LOLOLOL..
ingenius..
So cute.. And it looks so darn real, doc!
Capt Picard, *takes a bow* .. err… ok.. *points to Magentic.
Bengbeng, hehe.. no crocodiles in there nowadays … i think.
*Throws a life-saver* to eve… got it? I hope you don’t need resuscitation, hehe.
yenchiew, yup, little fishies… if you install it, you can see other types too.
Pelf you almost feel like you want to go in there and swim with them, eh?
lol…..
Oops… I think that char koay teow stall was dad’s cousin (or something), now already no more ‘char’-ing…
Haha, memory is failing, that’s why.
And this morning, I remembered the name of the supermarket - Looking Good. Oh, and the mall in the town centre that I mentioned the other day was Ocean haha… izit also known as Central Sq?
Zadao, liddat oso can. ROFL!
Happysurfer, now that’s HAPPY!
Angel, ohhh i see. Aiyaa. But you know what? There’s another char koay teow stall in Pekan Lama that’s really good, the Loh Mee there is really good too.
UAhh.. early morning enlightenment? You’ve been dreaming of SP char koay teow izzit?
OK ok.. lemme go check the history books or ask the town fathers first regarding names of landmarks
hehe.
Jonzz, yattaaaa!! LOL.
Nope. Ocean is now a restaurant and a car specialty shop. Central Square was never anything besides Central Square. There was only one hawker centre in Sp town actually. The place which we call, “Ji Ke”
Nice post there, Bernard. You had me there for a moment. lolz!!!
Spring Breeze, ahh.. yes.. updates! Thanks.
