A season for everything
Kedah, being the rice bowl of Malaysia, is green again. There’s been rain since the end of March. Now is the season for planting rice. I don’t know whether you remember the old campfire song..
Bent from morn till set of sun

Nowadays, planting rice is automated motorized.. with the help of machinery.

Rice has been my staple food since day one. Irony is I have never been to a paddy field to feel and touch this life giving weed that nourish and fill our tummies.
