Annie, aiks... it's a really clean picture, this one. ;-)

Update: I just found out that the NPC screening includes Epstein-Barr Virus Viral Capsid Antigen IgM.

Eve, one of the side benefits, eh?

Chelsea, yup, being comfortable with you doctor helps.

eastcoastlife, if you know something is wrong, then it's not "screening" already. Do you mean that you have symptoms? If you do, please do not delay.

You can delay screening but evaluating symptoms shouldn't wait.

Suppose to go for a health screening but so scared. I know something is wrong. I think most patients are liddat arh! Scared of the outcome. Drag, drag, drag and then it gets worse. sigh....

Should have married a doctor, so everyday gets check... hahaha. But not a gynae, he sees so many women's naked bodies a day, I'm sure he gets sick of another one at home. muahahahaha....

jonzz, haha.. no.. that's the normal procedure to look at the gastro-esophageal junction. Routinely done to complete the examination.

Nowadays, stomach cancer tends to grow at the gastro-esophageal junction compared to before when most of them grow at the lower end of the stomach.

just me, for pap smear you go to a familiar doctor.

A mammogram is done by a radiographer and the films are read by a radiologist. A mammogram is not a breast scan. Usually that refers to an ultrasound scan. That is done by a radiologist.

Judy, in government it's practically free. In private, then it's pay for service. Everyone has a choice. It's a free country. :-)

Quite similar to NHS. The government is feeling the pinch in healthcare expenditure.
