jonzz, hmm.. "whitish layer".. do you mean the slough that sticks to an infected wound? It's tough and very sticky. If the slough comes off easily.. you can peel it off.

Wennn, it's a fairly clean wound, this one. You should see the dirty wounds.

Chelsea, in the armpit.

Hello Dr. Csaba, good of you to drop by :-)

I can't understand the Hungarian.. but the videos speak a thousand words. :-)

Got any new videos?

Ugh, last time I had a friend who likes to peel off the whitish layer after an accident. He claims the skin will be smoother after that. Sweat sweat sweat... I wonder now...

eve, curiosin is zink hyaluronic acid. Not cheap. I've used it a couple of times for non-healing ulcers and they seemed to have healed up fairly well. There is limited data for the use of hyaluronic acid for chronic venous ulcers and burns wounds. You could try it for these wounds.

Judy, it's still open. I expect it'll be a couple of weeks more.

Capt Picard, i should've become a starfleet captain too... sounds like more fun. :-)

How long before the wound close up completely?

You know what? I think I am getting used to seeing these sort of pictures. I tell myself to look at it as a piece of meat.

Maybe soon I will become vegetarian.
