SK, They look “geli” because they are inflammed. The normal appendix looks quite nice :-). The appendix that looks the most normal is the one with the “stone” next to it. It’s just slightly inflammed.

Sorry if I’m asking stupid question. Any possibilities that the fats ‘grow’ and wrapped the entire appendix? If yes, what will happend?

P/s : I hope you don’t charge me for consultation fee. The pics facinates me. Not that I’m sadist, but I found what you posted very educational,at least for a lay person like me. :)

I enjoy talking about this, really. And no question is stupid if you are interested to know the answer, won’t you agree?

I haven’t seen the fat bury the appendix yet… but never say never in medicine :-). The appendix can get buried in adhesions (sort of scar tissue in the abdomen). It does no harm but it’s more difficult to retrieve during appendicectomy.

Again…I’ll faint…and puke…but hey….the liposuction thingy does interest me in a way…any good liposuction treatment you can recommend within Malaysia?

I wonder if the body can take it when suddenly large amount of fats being sucked out?? Not to forget, every part inside the body ‘communicate’ by 24/7 ;)

Remember that fat has functions too. but too much fat isn’t good for your body metabolism.

the body wouldn’t mind the large amounts of fat being sucked out. but there is a complication of having large amounts of fat liquified in the process - fat can get into the blood vessels and these fat globules in the blood can cause problems.

one note: losing weight too rapidly by crash dieting or severe illness can cause gallbladder stones to form too.

besides that, it can cause hormonal imbalance which may lead to changes in women’s periods.

    Wowww .. complicated!
