Gymnastics

The Majlis Sukan Negeri of Penang runs a gymnasium to train gymnasts. I wonder how many of you watched the film “Nadia” before. She was a gold-medallist Romanian gymnast who defected to the West. She started at a very young age. Joseph loves climbing and tumbling about. I think it’s because of the way i held him since he was a baby:

So, I sent him to a gymnastics coach to get him interested. He loves it and keeps asking for more… It’s good to get started early in something he likes.

Canoeing at the lagoon

Joseph and I went canoeing in the lagoon (or rather, lake) that gave the houses its name. He’s got a fascination with rowing and he enjoyed the canoeing experience (until the boat started to rock :-)).

River boating

The river: Sungai Merbok. There’s a jetty near home. On Saturday, the developer organised a boat-ride on the river. Joseph loved this too. Gunung Jerai is in the background.

Back on dry land. No, those big houses are not mine… haha.

Keeping the Kids oKKupied

The developer of my residential area held a promotional event to sell houses coming up in the area. The idea is to encourage current home owners to introduce their friends to homes in our housing area. My son enjoyed the games that the clown got the kids to join in.
