A polyp in the colon

This is a polyp in the colon from a colonoscopic view. A polyp may be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer). Usually, malignant polyps grow from benign polyps. So, these polyps should be removed either via the endoscope or via open surgery if the patient is fit.
